Puke Ariki This is the web site of Puke Ariki, a museum, library and heritage visitor centre for Taranaki. The site provides information about this 'knowledge centre' that houses a full public library, museum and visitor information centre, and provides digital access to some of the resources on New Zealand history available there. The site also contains comprehensive information about the centre itself and its facilities, resources and exhibitions. The main focus of the online content is the Taranaki Stories that provide biographies and oral histories of important historical individuals. 24 hour museum : city heritage guides The 24 Hour Museum publishes these City Heritage Guides, commissioned by Culture Online to highlight the history of key cities and encourage their exploration. The guides cover ten cities in the UK; Birmingham, Brighton & Hove, Bristol, Leeds, Leicester, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Newcastle and Norwich, and for each contains news, local history, heritage city trails and venues and listings.
