Advanced Instructional Methods (6 credit hours)
This course is designed to provide practical knowledge of instructional
techniques that can be directly applied in the classroom. This
includes basic learning and instructional principles, lesson planning,
audio visual media and evaluation. Emphasis will be placed on
the actual practice of the instructional skills. The course will
be divided between theory and practice. Each technique will be
explained and discussed on a theoretical basis; followed by video
taped student presentations demonstrating the effective use of
the technique.
