The Upper Right Ventricle

As indicated in the previous slide, it does not matter in what order the lesson is designed. It always appears the lesson was designed in a linear form because the objectives are written at the beginning of a lesson plan.

It is important that the content is indicated in the objective. The range of detail will be decided by the instructor based on many factors because the range of detail may not be indicated in the objective. Some of the factors that will determine the range of detail are:

  • Previous knowledge of the learners
  • Previous lessons or future lessons
  • The goals of the program or course or presentation
  • The need of the learners to know
  • The level of learning that is appropriate for the learner

The range of detail must be considered when developing the evaluation of the learning. Evaluation should not include levels of learning that learners have not been exposed to (evaluation of objectives when only comprehension of objectives was taught).
