Foundations of Adult and Continuing Education (6 credit hours)
An overview of adult education as a field of study and practice.
This includes the philosophic, psychological, sociological and
economic foundations of adult and continuing education. Additional
issues include the historical development of adult and continuing
education, federal and provincial government legislation and programs,
community colleges, secondary and post secondary programs.
