Classroom Counselling Techniques (6 credit hours)
This course focuses on increasing the effectiveness of educators
in the intervention in student problems. Emphasis will be placed
on the counseling skills and theories helpful in dealing with
the development needs of students. Activities include engaging
in structured exercises to develop increased self-awareness, interpersonal
communications skills and interviewing techniques.
