Computer Technology in Education (6 credit hours)
This course is intended to provide a basic understanding of the
uses of computers in education. It provides participants with
a general knowledge of the educational applications of the computer
as an instructional tool. Emphasis will be placed on the use of
the computer in instructor preparation and for the support of
teaching activities. The course will focus on using the microcomputer
for work processing, database, spreadsheet, graphics and desktop
publishing software applications, including the types and functions
of computer equipment.
