Austrade sets target of 110 million MOOC students for Australia by 2025

International Education Minister Richard Colbeck has launched a radical plan for Australia to use online technology to grab 10 per cent of the world market in education by 2025, amounting to an astonishing 110 million students.

Senator Colbeck said the strategy, developed by Austrade, was achievable. "Why not aim high? We sit in a rapidly developing area of the globe and they all recognise the quality of our [education] framework," he said.
