Indigenous Youth Leadership scholarship program opens The Indigenous Youth Leadership Programme (IYLP) is a leadership programme for young Indigenous Australians delivered by The Foundation for Young Australians. Funded by the Australian Government Department of Education, Science and Training (DEST), the IYLP Tertiary Scholarships for 2007 are offered to young Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people, between the age of 17-25, from a remote community, going to university and interested in developing their leadership skills to contribute to their community.
