Specific Learning Objective: Learners will be able to list a number of known teaching strategies.

Content

In this course we will not spend any time teaching you about more teaching strategies. We will review the ones that you already know. Once this is completed, then we will examine them from several perspectives that will help you determine the appropriate strategy or strategies for the particular lesson that you are planning to teach.

Take a few minutes now and list all the teaching strategies that you have experienced or have heard about. Remember the various ones from grade school and any teaching situation that you have ever been in. Try to think of a minimum of twenty.

On the next page is a list of a number strategies. How many of the following did you list? Add the ones from this list to your list as you will need them for later pages.
