LibreTexts's new website is officially up and running. "LibreTexts is the adaptable, user-friendly open education resource platform that educators trust for creating, customizing, and sharing accessible, interactive textbooks, adaptive homework, and ancillary materials. We collaborate with individuals and organizations to champion open education initiatives, support institutional publishing programs, drive curriculum development projects, and more." Note that answers and questions in the 'assignments' section are open to only to 'Verified Instructors'. 3008 books, 2725 assets (such as MP3 videos), 4263 projects, but only 20 authors listed. I didn't find the search useful; stick to the buttons and dropdowns.

Consultations on the AI Strategy for the Federal Public Service: What We Heard
Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat,

Where it should not be used: automated decision-making, surveillance, employment-related decisions, decision-making and policy recommendations, and decisions about eligibility for social services.

This article is white text on a black background with garish green highlights a la The Matrix, so it's catnip for someone like me, and I had to cover it. More seriously, The article describes how school districts do their best to cover up hacking incidents, and in the process, find themselves enmeshed in the dysfunction that is the legal system and privacy law. "In positioning themselves at the helm of cyberattack responses, attorneys have advised districts they should contact law enforcement only 'in conjunction with qualified counsel.'"
