This article kept me more or less interested to the conclusion, so it is certainly worth passing along. But it strikes me as envisioning only half of what is possible with new online technologies, anticipating highly personalized content services, but failing to imagine the changing roles of content producers and content consumers. The resulting system is also much more overtly commercial than I would like, and designing a system where it is very likely students would run out of money accessing required texts would most likely be a mistake.
