In fact, it's a small computing box, into which you need to plug in a keyboard and monitor. The Times of India calls it a damp squib. The Hindu has a photo. MediaNama makes it clear that this is a storage device. "Four publishers Macmillan, Tata McGraw Hill, Prentice-Hall and Vikas Publishing have been engaged to upload textbooks and content for students." Not useful? We'll see.
