It's possible that under some strict readings of Europe's new copyright rules, what I do in OLDaily would become illegal. I will continue to take my lead from Google regarding what's allowed and what isn't, and for now that includes posting snippets and thumbnails, just like I've always done. I will certainly never seek licensing for any linking or excepts that appear here (and in the spirit of fairness, I won't charge websites for the exposure I provide them either). All kidding aside, we've entered a new era of copyright regulation on the internet, one which I fear will not end well for public discourse and the exchange of ideas.
