The annual global celebration and focus on open education.
For Open Education Week 2025 the community contributed 310 events to the OEWeek 2025 calendar online or in person from the start of February through the end of March.

Plus, as of March 31, 2025 collectively we curated 81 assets in OER Commons, added 48 pins to the OER World Map, and shared 22 resources in OEG Connect.

Whether you hosted or participated in OEWeek activities, please help shape next year’s Open Education Week by completing our Feedback Survey which includes a place to suggest the timing for 2026.

  1. Okay that's a first! I have @oeglobal set up for the #OEWeek25 WordPress site federating here with the ActivityPub plugin- but this post is wired in with the EventBridge plugin which will federate events added with The Events Calendar.
