It's just that Spotify took a billion dollar swing and whiffed, and now, podcasters themselves have to navigate the fallout." People might not recall (but OLDaily does!) that Spotify tried to become the podcast platform by acquiring everybody else (and paying Joe Rogan $200 million. All the acquisitions produced was a lot of debt, which Spotify has since been trying to wring from producers and listeners.
