Librarians and people in government will be interested in this conference summary, which looks at the digitization of government resources and library services in Australia. Why the title? As Toss Gascoigne writes, "Government departments are increasingly using the web as their primary means of publication. It's quicker and easier and gives much better access in today's wired world. And they save money by printing fewer hard copies. The problem arises when reports are removed from the web or re-located to a new URL." Via The Networker (EdNA).
