A bit like WWF Smackdown (oh, sorry, WWE now), Wikipedia's Jimmy Wales and Britannica's Dale Hoiberg engage in a back and forth debate on the relative merits of each other's product. "Artificially excluding good people from the process is not the best way to gather accurate knowledge. Britannica has acknowledged the value of having multiple contributors, although of course because they are proprietary rather than freely licensed they would have a very hard time attracting the kind of talent that we have."
