As people rush to predict what will happen in 2009, I evaluate the predictions made last year about what will happen in 2008. Ignore the date on the post - I started writing it December 25 but didn't finish it (or publish it) until today, but for some reason the Blogger date shows the date I started it, not the date I finished it.
