Interesting thoughts on different types of learning, from Harold Jarche. "In his posting yesterday," writes Jane Hart, "he now refers to learners as being Dependent, Independent and Interdependent." Well, I would define 'group directed learning' as a type of co-dependent learning, hardly removed from dependent learning, while other forms of organizational learning can continue to be 'interdependent'. In other words, being dependent as a group isn't much of an improvement over being dependent as an individual, while being independent is possibly only if you're no longer in a group.
