Training Top 50

Trainingmag, Mar 28, 2001

Training magazine's Top 50 training organizations spent more than $5.3 billion on training and development initiatives last year. On average, these companies annually provided 66 hours of training per employee, funded by an average 3.9 percent of payroll—a full 1.3 percent higher than the industry norm of 2.6 percent. What's interesting about this article - which actually only lists the top 5 - is the very different approach each organization has to training. But note that they all use distance and web based training to a significant degree. Various authors, Training Magazine, March, 2001.
