This press release (featured on Yahoo but not yet on the Adobe site) is part of a wider strategy by Adobe to promote its proprietary e-book technology (it's worth noting that the previous week Adobe was targetting Mobile Professionals (their caps) with the same technology and 2000 e-book titles). But the question remains: do people want to buy special 'readers' for books they can buy more cheaply in print, or could access for free off the internet (if only they were allowed)?
