They take the concept of linking to the next level - smart tags, part of the new Windows XP system, are hyperlinks added by XP to any web page, Word document, or similar application. But the smart tags, it seems at first glance, all lead to Microsoft resources. And so they are raising the criticism that Microsoft software is altering other people's web pages with its browser to create a competitive advantage for itself. By Walter S.
