This article looks at the implementation of BOPS (Back Office Performance Support), a European electronic performance support system (EPSS) employing a learning organization model (Raybould and Laffey) that emphasizes training on demand, feedback and support and best practices. The implementation in three companies was examined and success factors identified, specifically: the organization needs good IT support, staff must be motivated to learn, and the organization framework must support performance support.
