Think briefly about the implications of rewritable storage device that holds the equivalent of 200 CD-ROMs on a chip the size of a postage stamp. The system reads and writes by making atom sized dents in a piece of plexiglass. Right now it is too slow to be useful but "it's in a state where all the big problems are solved."
