The first issue of Game Studies launches, an online journal dedicated to the study of computer games. There is a strong connection between gaming and education, a connection suggested by several of the articles in this issue looking at the development of story lines in online games. Though I don't quite think I could agree that "grandmothers are cooler than trolls."
