One of the tricks to any theory of 'learning styles' (or some such thing) is navigating the tricky territory between that which can be learned and that which constitutes an unchangeable aspect of the learner's personality. I'm afraid Roger Schank leans too far to the latter as he attributes to personality things I think is a paradigm instance of learned behaviour: honesty or dishonesty.
