This one has been around for a while, but Rod sent the link around and I think it's worth passing along. Bookmarklets are little bits of Javascript you insert instead of URLs in your bookmarks (or favorites) list. When you select the bookmarklet (just as you would select a page to view from bookmarks or favorites), the function is performed.
