As a couple of people pointed out to me in the discussion area, an even earlier RSS feed of learning objects exists. This feed, which genuinely ranks first (bumping Maricopa to second) uses (as I recall) Userland software. It seems to me that I actually exchanged email with the author when it came out, so I have no real excuse for forgetting it. This site only lists multiple choice questions in medicine.
