The semantic web may be the web's younger brother, but it is not yet shown to be smarter. Still, that doesn't stop the marketing. "The Semantic Web is also known as Web 3.0 and the Data Web and the Deep Web. It's not artificial intelligence. This new iteration of web is, however, 'smarter' in that it makes more intuitive connections between data." It does no such thing, of course. The connections must be painstakingly created, or data-mined using domain-specific applications, or some such thing.
