Students at the normally conservative Michigan Technological University rallied in support of one of their colleagues after he was sued by the RIAA for sharing online music. This item is significant because it shows the huge task facing the RIAA: how do you convince their entire subscriber base that what they're doing is wrong? This task becomes a lot harder when, from the students' point of view, it is manifestly not wrong.
