If you don't write software you won't appreciate this article, but if you do you'll get some chuckles, and maybe some pointers. The author, looking at examples of software written in C and Perl, bemoans the basic lapses of logic displayed by many programmers. And therein, shows the answer to the question of how memory leaks crash your computer and where buffer overflow hacks come from.
