Blackboard Expands Reach in Deal to Set Up Chinese Colleges With Its Software

It was a banner day for Blackboard yesterday as the company reached a deal to provide software for the Chinese public-private education company Cernet, which in turn provides software for more than 1,000 universities in the People's Republic. The deal was announced in a press release Tuesday.
