Good commentary on the potential future relationship between publishers of digital materials and libraries. Beginning with the question of whether "anyone really doubted that publishers would love to lock libraries out of circulating digital files," the article looks at the current limitations in effect and suggests that publishers would love to close the fair use loopholes that allow libraries to lend materials.
