There has been some buzz about Twitter's new 'Moments' feature in the last couple of weeks. Some depoct its focus on daily events as a way of reinventing the newspaper. I'm not sure I'd go that far - but it does illustrate the utility of effective filters in a sea of data. But where there are filters, there is commerce. And this is where the other shoe drops, as Twitter yesterday annoounced tools and partnerships for embedding these tweets. "Tweets have become the "modern day pull quote" and said Twitter's aim is to turn them into a 'material part' of publishers' businesses." Well - OK. But how do you feel about your tweets being monetized by Twitter as news stories?
