I spent several hours watching these last night - not all of them, I have to admit, as I began to waver after about 45 or so (and also to yearn for some other songs). Nonetheless, what kept me watching was the amazing diversity that was on display in these music videos from schools across the country. The students played and sang everything. This resulted in some, um, variable quality. But the results were always entertaining, and watching the videos filled me with optimism for the future. It's a contest, but I don't care about the winner; you can pick your own.
