One of the things that never ceases to amaze me is the sheer number and variety of communities that form around different topics. A case in point is the CUNY Games Network games network, reported on by EdSurge, that grew out of the Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC). The network has spawned grants and publications and connects more than 160 GBL researchers and practitioners within CUNY.
