This paper reflects a shift in the data-gathering priorities in educational statistics. The authors write, "Sustainable development goal (SDG) 4, for example, moves beyond measures of access and increasingly focuses on the sustainability of education including issues of educational quality and student outcomes." I'm seeing this in my own work in business intelligence. The paper surveys some emerging trends and offers a list of recommended indicators for leadership and teacher training data.
