The content of this textbook is pretty interesting, but that's not why I'm linking to it. I posed a question a day or so ago asking what syndicated Jupyter Notebooks would look like. Tony Hirst responded with this tweet, pointing me back to a post he wrote a few days ago. It was still pretty opaque, but I went looking through Binder and, ultimately, this online book that connects to hosted instances of Jupyter notebooks. You can see the actual entries on GitHub here. So I think it would be pretty straightforward to syndicate these GitHub pages, but making them run on Python requires a host (even if it's a dynamic host on a JupyterHub server) which means I can't just embed it within other resources.
