Nice short article outlining the differences of meaning between the terms e-learning and computer based training (CBT) and having very little to do with foreign language training. For myself, I have always described my field as "online learning" - the "e" in e-learning includes a lot of stuff I'm not interested in, such as CD-ROM based courseware, and it seems to me that there is something important in the idea that learning takes place online - and hence, is connected to a network - that is not captured with the mere observation that it is electronic.
