For the most part you won't have to do anything in response to this basic upgrade of the underlying protocols all web pages use, though if you manage your own web server you'll have to update it when the new version comes out. QUIC is not officially an acronym, though if you want you can think of it as "Quick UDP Internet Connections". It "replaces TCP at the transport layer and cuts down on the number of round trips a client must make to establish a connection." So it should speed up web connections generally.
