USPTO returning to in-person PTAB hearings

Starting September 1, 2025, all PTAB hearings will be held in-person at one of the USPTO’s offices; the public maintains the ability to remotely attend PTAB hearings.

USPTO announces accelerated patent grant programs with Belize, Guatemala, and the United Arab Emirates 

Under these programs, when a U.S. patent applicant receives a U.S. patent, the partner office will accelerate its grant of patent rights on a corresponding application based on the USPTO’s grant.

The order sanctions respondents and terminates trademark application proceedings in which respondents improperly entered applicant and attorney signatures and provided false signatory and attorney information.
