This is the first of a three part series asking the question of whether an AI can replace an instructional designer (ID). The first test measures its ability to write learning objectives. It's a bit of a mug's game in that any old instructional designer could have been used for the 'human-without-AI' portion of the test (and who scored third of three). A better ID would have written better learning objectioves (or at least, ensured they were measurable). Anyhow, unsurprisingly, human ID+AI scores the highest, though not that much higher than AI alone.
