This longish article devolves into marketing in the last couple of paragraphs, but it addresses a topic I don't think I've addressed directly in 23 years of OLDaily, so that alone makes it worthy of inclusion. What we have here is a guide on how to create a codebook, some information on how to decide on codes, and some examples of codebooks. It's worth considering, in passing, how AI will support, and then change, the practice of qualitative research. No, it's not numbers and statistics, but it's a type of categorization, which AI is particularly good at.
