The Real Roadblocks to Linux in Education

There has been a lot of talk about the use of open source software in learning, but movement in that direction in Australia has been slow. Why? According to this author, the schools themselves wouldn't save any money, since computer equipment is paid for at the departmental level. And departmental administrators are afraid of angering Microsoft. Via Slashdot.
