Panel discussion on creativity and especially the teaching of creativity. Issues covered include the question of whether people are born creative and whether people can be trained to be creative, and whether you can test for it. This parallels similar questions of nature versus nurture that come up in, for example, intelligence. Another issue concerns the relation between the information processing model of cognition and creativity - the mechanistic models of cognition we have aren't good at talking about where ideas come from in the first place. There was video, but it appears to be long gone. No slides, but the text of my presentation is available.
